If at any time you suspect a natural gas leak or other safety problem, you should immediately vacate the premises and contact a licensed plumber.
You are responsible for the proper construction, maintenance, inspection and repair of the pipeline and other equipment used to deliver the gas from our well or pipeline to your residence.
Your delivery system should contain regulators, drips and other important safety equipment, which require periodic maintenance and inspection. If you are not willing to undertake this serious responsibility, for your safety, you should immediately switch to another fuel for your residence.
Because we are concerned with your safety, we strongly recommend that all our gas users have their systems inspected by a licensed plumber at least one time each year. This will be an additional expense but it is worthwhile.
Artex Oil Company is not a public utility. You are responsible for having a backup heating system to use when gas from a well or pipeline is not available.
Before beginning excavation, buried pipelines or other facilities must be located. For assistance in locating buried lines contact the Oil & Gas Producers Underground Protection Service at 1-800-925-0988, and the Ohio Utilities Protection Service (OUPS) at 1-800-362-2764.
